Investment Portfolios

You can add as many portfolios as you like, with clear breakdowns of price, value, cost and gain.

Prices can be downloaded automatically from the internet, keeping your portfolio up-to-date.

You can create charts displaying the price history or fund value over time, and transactions are marked, aiding the decision making process.

Both securities and crypto-currencies are supported.

Data Importing

Maxim Money imports data using OFX and QIF formats, so you can easily migrate from applications such as Quicken, as well as being able to import downloaded statements from your Bank.

It can also directly import MNY files, making transitions simple for users coming from Microsoft Money.

We are Open Banking ready, so it will soon be possible to download directly from your bank, for a small subscription fee.

Context-sensitive toolbars

The main toolbar dynamically changes, depending what view you have selected in the main window.

This keeps things simple by giving you the functions you need, but not cluttering up your view with options you don't.

In-line Reconciliation

To ease the matching process, reconciliation is carried out directly within the main transaction register, automatically highlighting the most likely matches.

This makes it easier to see what is new, and what is a duplicate.

Flexible Layout

The layout of windows within Maxim Money is completely flexible, allowing you to view multiple components simultaneously.

For example, different account transaction registers side-by-side, with charts, calendar and portfolios arranged around them.

This allows you to create a dashboard showing you of all the things that are important to you, at once.

Transaction Groups

You can group and split transactions, and see these directly within your transaction register.

This allows you to sub-categorise single payments, or group together payments from multiple payees.

Detailed Reporting

Reporting is a breeze, with straightforward configuration. Complex transaction filters can be added using our easy to use interface.

Charts can be embedded in the reports, making them more attractive and easier to understand.

Data Security

Your data stays offline, on your own PC, significantly reducing the risk of hackers gaining access to it.

Your data file can be password protected, and encrypted using the latest 256-bit encryption.

You can even add 2FA to your data file, for an extra layer of security.

Making Tax Digital

Maxim Money now supports Quarterly Reporting for UK Sole Traders and Landlords, allowing you to submit your reports directly to HMRC.
