How to Migrate
Moving your financial history shouldn't feel like a chore. Maxim Money is designed to ingest your Quicken data seamlessly, keeping your categories, tags, and transaction history intact.
Step 1: Export your data from Quicken
- Open your data file in Quicken Classic or Quicken Subscription.
- Go to File > Export > QIF File...
- Select 'All Accounts' from the dropdown menu to ensure a complete migration.
- Choose a date range (we recommend 'All Transactions') and save the file to your desktop.
Step 2: Import into Maxim Money
- Launch Maxim Money on your Windows device.
- Click on File > Import
- Select the QIF file you just saved.
- Maxim Money will automatically import your Quicken categories to its native structure.
